Local insulation grants in your area

As part of CERT (Carbon Emission Ruduction Target), energy companies are obliged to provide a set amount of funding each year toward improving the energy effeciency of UK homes.

This funding is allocated across the country, and local councils may also run their own initiatives to incentivise local residents to improve their home’s energy effeciency so that targets can be met.

Cavity wall and loft insulation grants

Energy companies provide funding for the installation of cavity wall or loft insulation in your home. Depending on your circumstances, you will be eligible for between 40%-100% the cost of professionally installed insulation, with the potential to save you up to £260 a year off you energy bills.
